The SARSILMAZ wave swept through the world’s largest hunting and shooting trade show, SHOT SHOW 2023. Representing Turkey with pride among the global arms industry players, SARSILMAZ welcomed visitors in Las Vegas, USA, from January 17-20, showcasing its state-of-the-art products developed with domestic and national capabilities. Drawing attention with its specially designed stand, SARSILMAZ received high praise from visitors, particularly for the heavy machine gun SAR 127 MT integrated into a Hummer-type military vehicle and nearly 100 other models.

SARSILMAZ’s US brand, SAR, which operates in the world’s largest civilian firearms market, was also one of the stars of SHOT SHOW. Having previously received awards in the US for various models, SAR added another accolade at this event. The SAR9 Compact X model was named Best Pistol by Ballistic Magazine, one of the leading American shooting and firearms publications. Additionally, SAR introduced its SAR9 Sub Compact and SAR9 SOCOM models—developed for special forces—for the first time at the US market during SHOT SHOW 2023, where it was among the event sponsors.

SARSILMAZ impressed international industry professionals with nearly 100 models displayed at SHOT SHOW 2023. Alongside other global arms industry leaders and more than 2,000 participating companies, the newest products in the sector were exhibited.

High Interest in the SAR 127 MT

As one of the world’s leading firearms manufacturers, SARSILMAZ showcased nearly 100 models at SHOT SHOW 2023 from its portfolio of over 300 products. In addition to the globally preferred SAR9 series, the steel group and revolver models, the exhibition featured the SAR 762 MT machine gun and the SAR 127 MT heavy machine gun.

The heavy machine gun SAR 127 MT, integrated into a Hummer-type military vehicle, attracted intense attention from visitors. Among the world’s few manufacturers capable of meeting all the needs of a military unit, SARSILMAZ also exhibited 27 military weapon models in the pistol, submachine gun, and infantry rifle classes, along with 64 civilian firearms at its stand.

SAR: America’s Best

Another highlight of SHOT SHOW was SARSILMAZ’s US brand SAR, active in the world’s largest civilian firearms market. Having earned recognition with previous models, SAR added another award at the event. The SAR9 Compact X was named Best Pistol by Ballistic Magazine. SAR also debuted the SAR9 Sub Compact and SAR9 SOCOM models for the US market. Presenting 96 pistols for visitors to examine, SAR, a sponsor of SHOT SHOW 2023, also showcased military firearms including the SAR 127 MT, SAR 762 MT, and MPT 76 SH.
